My story
For 17 years, I made complicated things easier to understand. Then I had to do the same for myself.
At CVS Health, my work was about turning raw data, difficult business questions, and complicated decisions into something leaders could understand and act on.
Along the way, I noticed something I could not unsee: the people who moved forward were not always the most qualified. They were often the people whose value was visible, understood, and easy for someone else to explain.
Then I got laid off. Visibility stopped being theoretical. It became personal.
I had to figure out who I was without the title, company name, and career path that had explained me for years. That chapter became the foundation for what I am building now — My Polished Profile, my writing, and the two books I am working on.
